******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** We are currently seeking an Architect/Designer to support Kimco’s Development & Property Management departments on redevelopments and upgrading our existing portfolio’s aesthetics. Specifically, we are looking for someone to provide guidance on how to better incorporate the surrounding community with stronger “Place Making” opportunities on Kimco properties through supervision of the feasibility, design and implementation of better activated public spaces and improving the building aesthetics within the property. Scope will involve the current portfolio of 550 properties within the Kimco portfolio.
Job responsibilities will include supporting the development and regional property management teams on evaluating the feasibility, programming and implementation of the existing portfolio of assets for stronger “Place Making” opportunities within our traditional grocery anchored shopping centers. Engage and understand the specific project budgets in conjunction with the property management team, and coordinating with the regional asset management teams on how to plan for future spending. This person will also take the lead on future upgrades to our existing shopping center’s façade upgrades. Candidate will also attend appropriate community / township meetings on zoning issues, community impacts within each local jurisdiction in which assets are being upgraded, and will closely engage with the ESG team on tacking the specific benchmarks impacting our assets.
