    ******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** Kimco Realty is looking for a Financial Coordinator to be responsible for supporting our construction group on major commercial projects in our Mid-Atlantic region. The position requires excellent communication skills, as this person will communicate both internally and externally with vendors, tenants and various departments within Kimco. This is an excellent opportunity for growth within a stable, Fortune 500 company.

     

    Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Preparing budgets and budget adjustments for signature
    • Maintaining budget records and approvals
    • Reviewing tenant allowances and commission contract amounts for accuracy prior to system setup
    • Reviewing & preparing tenant allowance invoices for proper documentation and follow up
    • Reviewing contract change orders
    • Reviewing invoices for approval
    • Reviewing and preparing general contractor invoices for processing and payment

    Requirements

    • 1+ year of corporate experience
    • Strong financial acumen 
    • Background in commercial real estate construction a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Excel (inclusive of functions, formulas and v-lookups), Word, and Outlook, as well as the ability to master other internal systems
    • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks and multi-task
