    ******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** We are currently seeking a Manager of Business Operations, reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations, to lead key strategic initiatives in the areas of leasing, development, construction and property management.  Business Operations initiatives are designed to improve performance by solving challenges that are cross-functional in nature or arise out of Kimco’s regionalized structure.  The Business Operations function is comprised of a team of individuals whose areas of focus include:

     

    • Standardization of regional operations reporting
    • Business process improvement
    • Implementation of national programs
    • Technology design and adoption
    • Leasing compensation design & administration
    • Leasing training and talent development
    • Sustainability program communications & reporting

     

    The specific duties of this position are as follows:

    • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives identified by the VP of Business Operations and key members of Kimco’s management team
    • Drive and monitor user adoption of Salesforce as Kimco’s core operations platform through the delivery of training, supporting data migration efforts, and serving as a power user and advocate for the system
    • Develop and support reporting and dashboard assets intended to drive executive management, leasing, development, construction and property management decision making
    • Manage ongoing leasing performance tracking and compensation administration
    • Communicate progress on an as-needed basis with Kimco’s executive team, department leaders and members of regional management

    The ideal candidate will possess a diverse knowledge of business and real estate subject matter and strong analytical skills, demonstrating a capability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.  Past project management experience working with diverse stakeholder groups in a consultative capacity is a pre-requisite. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for frequent interactions with Kimco employees across varying levels, regions and departments.

    Requirements

    • 4-year degree in a relevant field of study such as business, real estate, the social sciences or technology 
    • Advanced degree, such as a Masters in Business Administration or Masters of Real Estate is preferred 
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
    • Prior exposure to CRM software such as Salesforce   
    • Ability to travel periodically
