******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Real Estate who will be responsible for leasing space in a tailored portfolio of shopping centers including the Mid-Atlantic Region’s premier lifestyle project, Suburban Square, located in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. The Director of Real Estate will be tasked with creating and implementing the ideal tenant merchandising plan to further the Suburban Square brand and will be a critical member of the team during Suburban Square’s current redevelopment as well as planned future phases. Based at Suburban Square, this position reports to the Vice President of Leasing for the Mid-Atlantic region and will collaborate with other departments including property management, development / construction, asset management, legal, and lease administration / accounting, as well as 3rd party ownership representatives. Candidates should have a proven track record in top-tier lifestyle retail leasing with strong contacts in the lifestyle retail tenant and brokerage communities. Candidates should possess a superior skill set in retail leasing, including developing leasing budgets, canvassing, tenant retention, negotiating lease proposals, amendments and renewals, and the ability to develop and execute a tenant merchandising plan. Strong financial and system acumen as well as excellent leadership and communication skills a must.


  • Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Retail Leasing
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and preferably Salesforce
  • Established tenant and industry relationships and broker network
  • Strong knowledge of demographics, traffic patterns, market trends, competing centers and rental rates
