Description

Kimco Realty is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern, in our New Hyde Park, NY office, to play an important role in the development of Kimco’s Northeast regional online presence. The intern will use our current real estate projects to engage on-line followers to help grow our audience. Video production and photography are a vital aspect of this internship. 

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Support the marketing and design teams in executing projects for leasing, development, and other work as assigned
  • Promote our social media presence on all different platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook), posting updates, news and announcements in a timely manner using appropriate content
  • Increase the number of followers we have
  • Social Media & Video production and editing will be a focus of the internship
  • Campaign idea and creation for social media platforms and industry events and trade shows
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to support campaigns with design solutions
  • Marketing, design, and administrative overflow work will be assigned as needed

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver)
  • Must be familiar with animation/video editing software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (must be able to read, write and speak English, using proper grammar)
  • Ability to work part-time during the school year, in our New Hyde Park, NY office
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and effectively manage time, schedules and deadlines, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Proactive, independent work style and friendly positive demeanor
  • Collaborative, flexible approach and a willingness to pitch in where necessary
