******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to serve the Northeast Region.  This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of a large-scale multi-level retail redevelopment project in the New York Metro Area.  This role will include overseeing the completion of construction drawings, bidding, permitting, estimating, coordination of landlord work letters and fit-outs of tenant spaces, review of tenant plans, coordinating with Kimco Leasing Directors, negotiating construction contracts, overseeing the general contractor (both onsite and remotely), monitoring project schedule and budget, invoicing, managing Kimco associates throughout contract administration, and internal reporting and coordination with Kimco project members. 

Requirements

  • Strong General Contracting background with a focus on large-scale retail construction, including major redevelopment and/or ground-up experience.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the Northeast region to project sites
  • Regional contacts within the construction industry
  • Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or a minimum of 8 years of equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; MS Project a plus
